TRURO BOATING ASSOCIATION (TBOA)

RUAN LANIHORNE OR BUST!

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE EXPEDITION

Tucked up for the night

Memorable sunset

Members arrived on pontoons at confluence of Truro and Fal rivers throughout the afternoon. Some were missing, as the event coincided with the Mylor Yacht Club BBQ at Turnawre. They would have not been able to light the fire without the Pete Thomas technique!

The programme was to mingle, sharing drinks and food, promenading between the yachts. As to be expected on this sort of occasion, rather more drink than food was consumed. Well, once you are 'on a roll' who wants to put the glass down and cook!

Most ended up on the Star Tiger. This was due to Roger's and Janete's hospitality and good conversation. (Besides, they had the biggest cockpit).

Poor old Keith had to retire early - Dog trouble. Before he left, he stated his future intentions. 'That @**$~##-ߨ+Ý DOG is not coming on the boat again. I'll leave the *#$@!!*%+À¦nÅ thing home next time'.
